(2) Milan/Linate with bus from airport to Milan city centre or taxi to Cadorna station with trains to Como.
(3)Milan/Bergamo airport (Orio al Serio) is a little further away but a good option for visitors hiring a car.
We can usually arrange a "door-to-door" taxi service - to and from all airports.

Argegno is situated about half way up the western "leg" of Lake Como with views up to the island of Comacina and beyond the Balbianello promontory to Bellagio.

The Villa is set on 3 floors surrounded by terraced gardens and has a spectacular lake views.

First Floor: Large Terrace/Sitting Area. Bedsit comprising: Sitting/Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchenette, Balcony & Terrace. Gardens to sides.

Although public transport finishes early to and from Argegno (around 20:15) it is cheap and generally punctual.

Second Floor: Main apartment with newly fitted kitchen, Sunroom, Utility Room, Bathroom, Shower Room, Double Guest Room with balcony, Twin Guest Room with balcony, Large Sitting/Dining Room with open Fireplace.

Prices: Guest Rooms in main apartment: Euro 60 per night per room inc. Breakfast.
First Floor Bedsit: (self-catering) Euro 80 per night.

The departure point for boats is 10 mins. by foot (hydrofoil for Como city - 20 mins. and Bellagio 20 mins.). Good communications from Como to Milan city centre by local train (1 hour).
The village of Argegno has a variety of restaurants, pizzerias and bars and there is a cable car service to the mountain-top village of Pigra.
There is a small lido on the Lake open during the summer and boat hire facilities.
