(1) Milan/Malpensa with excellent train service from airport, shuttle bus service from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 - train station, change at Saronno for Como Lago. 
(2) Milan/Linate with bus from airport to Milan city centre or taxi to Milan Cadorna station. Change at Saronno for train to Como Lago.
(3)Milan/Bergamo airport (Orio al Serio) is a little further away but a good option for visitors hiring a car.
We can usually arrange a "door-to-door" taxi service - to and from all airports. Please ask for cost estimate.

Although public transport finishes early to and from Argegno (around 20:15) it is cheap and generally punctual.

Argegno is situated about half way up the western "leg" of Lake Como with views up to the island of Comacina, to the Balbianello promontory and beyond to Bellagio.

The Villa is set on 3 floors (see below re: access) surrounded by terraced gardens and has spectacular lake views.

The departure point for boats is 10 mins. by foot (hydrofoil for Como city - 20 mins. and Bellagio 20 mins.). Good communications from Como to Milan city centre by local train (1 hour).
The village of Argegno has a variety of restaurants, pizzerias and bars and there is a cable car service to the mountain-top village of Pigra.
There is a small lido on the Lake open during the summer and boat hire facilities
